On 22 October 2021 the Minister of Finance announced the Government will increase the
amount and frequency of the Resurgence Support Payment.
From today (12 November) RSP will be paid at a base rate of $3000 per business and
$800 per FTE, up to a maximum of 50 FTE. This will make the maximum fortnightly
payment $43,000.
This will continue until Auckland moves into the new COVID-19 Protection Framework.
The Minister has indicated that a new framework for business support will be agreed
later this month.
